This work in progress looks at the abandoned mining site at Cwmystwyth in the Ceredigion area of West Wales. The mine ceased operation in 1921.
Most of the buildings on the site were built using naturally occurring materials of the area. As the buildings crumble they appear to dissolve back into the landscape from which their materials were gathered. The images have been made using a 5x4 field camera.
